Valery Menshenin
Deputy General Director for Security Issues
Valery Menshenin ws born In Sverdlovsk (now Yekateriburg) in 1957.
In 1979 he graduated from Urals Electromechanical Institute of Railway Engineers with a degree in “Automatics, Telemechanics and Communications in Railway Transportation”.
In 1979-1982 he worked as Electronics Engineer in the Urals Institute of Railway Engineers.
1982-1984 Mr Menshenin worked as Engineer at Urals Specialised Territorial Service of PA Konus
In 1984 he started his military career in Russian Army and retired in 2001.
In 2001-2002 Mr Menshenin worked as deputy head of service and senior inspector at Federal Surveillance Service in Communications in Sverdlovsk region.
Since December 2002 he has held the position of Deputy General Director for Security at Uralsvyazinform
